I took these at Crofton Lake the other day. This is one of Else's dogs, Tanner. He's as stick-crazy, water-crazy as Sadie B.
Hey, I found a stick! |
Will ya throw it for me? |
Stick! |
Ready.... |
Set..... |
GO! |
Swim..... |
Swim..... |
Um...it broked when I grabbed it - but I got part of it! |
Headin' back to shore! |
Shake.... |
Shake...... |
Shake some more! |
Do the zoomies.... |
Find another stick.... |
And start all over again! |

What a handsome dude Tanner is
The light and your camera work were just right to capture all those water droplets while Tanner shook. I've tried to capture that, back when I had a water dog; it is really hard!
I could watch dogs chase sticks all day. really enjoyed these two goofballs
Bonnie said he was getting a bit heavy. Seeing those pictures of him I think I agree. He could do with loosing 5 lb. Diet time Tan Tan.

Oh no - Tanner, tell your mom that the camera adds ten pounds!!!
I am so jealous seeing your dogs enjoying the water when us poor sods in Ontario haven't even been able to throw a frisbee safely in eight weeks, let alone go swimming.
I would consider moving to Crofton, but it seems like the end of the earth.....too far from Paris.
I am not a fan of sticks when it comes to dogs. They can be lethal. Ask any vet. Better to buy your dogs some nice floating bumpers.
Jean maybe the camera lies but the vet scales don't. He weighed in at 86.9 last week. He should be around 82/83
Good idea Cathy. I see about getting some.
Else
Is he a Beauceron?
I think he's a rotti-cross.
