Brave Little Polar Bear
I had the fun of photographing the Crofton Polar Bear Swim on New Year's Day. I'll post more photos of it later, but this little girl won my heart. I was using a telephoto lens, and she was just part of the crowd and totally unaware she was being photographed. Her facial expressions and body language tell a story of apprehension, courage, joy, and pride:
