Woo hoo! We're back in business!

Y'know how sometimes you can work and work and work on a problem and just can't seem to find the solution?  Then you return for one more try and Presto there it is!  This afternoon I fired up the computer, googled "problems with Camera Wizard" for the zillionth time, clicked on the first site that came up and in five seconds flat had the Microsoft download autofixer and It Was So Easy!!!!!   So, now I am busy editing over six hundred photos that were still sitting on my camera memory cards and are now on my computer.

I still suspect the computer might be ready kick the bucket soon.  It has frequent crashes, more than one thing has suddenly gone wrong lately, and it is getting slower and slower, but one of my nephews  (**Hi David!**) has offered me a working laptop that he doesn't use - with a built in card reader - yay! So as long as this one lasts until that one arrives, the blog will continue.

And, wow, do I have stories and pictures for you.  Salt Spring Island, a visit from the writer/photographer behind the blog BikesBirdsBeasts,  a great first-time hike in another nearby park, and, oh yes, the exhibition.  So...keep checking back because I will aim for one post each day until I'm caught up.  If that ever happens - tomorrow I think I'm going to be photographing DUCKLINGS!

But, for a teaser, I will post this one photo from the exhibition:

We're doin' the Happy Dance here!

Sweet! Congrats!
That makes me think it was taken in the 1950's, don't know why, just has that feel to it.
Wonderful picture! Simply wonderful!

A truly wonderful photo. It manages to capture Crofton and yet could be so many places. Art that is personal and yet universal.

Congratulations!

I had the same experience yesterday, of trying one more time to fix a problem on the website for a course I teach. Presto; it worked. Wonderful moments.

Apparently I AM a robot, because I can't make out the security words. Even when I change them I have to take numerous tries. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sheryl, I often have this problem when I'm commenting on other blogs. I sometimes have to refresh the word three or four times before I get one that I can even guess at.
I may consider taking the word verification off again - problem last time was I immediately got zapped with dozens of spam comments offering me penis enlargements and other stoopid stuff! Even though I do moderate the comments so readers don't see the spam, it irritates the heck out of me!

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this difficulty. I was starting to think there was something seriously wrong with my eyesight! LOL
