I'm taking a blogging vacation - my computers are both infected with something and my photo files keep duplicating themselves then deleting themselves - I have six copies of some folders, and other folders which are empty when I open them to see the photos. And my virus protection has gone haywire, and re-sets itself into the off position every thirty seconds.
So.... I'm shutting everything down until I can find a computer guru and the money to pay him/her.
