I went to the mainland for a few days. Drove out to the valley to visit Emma. Then went to my brother's to finish going through mom's stuff. Got to have dinner with my daughter and cousin too. Nice visit. On route back to the ferry, I spent a couple of hours at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary. That's where the few hundred photos come in. Here's a teaser to keep you coming back:

That is an absolutely stellar photograph of the Red-winged Blackbird. Every detail was caught magnificently! Good luck with the taxes! Once they are done, the sand/dirt transport and editing will be a piece of cake :)
