It's a wonderful life!

On the sixth day of Christmas, having this week watched for the umpteenth time a certain Christmas movie, I can't help but reflect that, yes, it is a wonderful life!  How can it not be when there's beautiful scenery minutes from my door, friends and dogs to hike with, and amazing sunsets that light up the mountains on the mainland and the skies over the nearby hills:

You are absolutely right, Jean, but isn't it lovely to have the proof of these spectacular photos to go back and enjoy again and again?

Also loved your little girl story of a couple of posts ago so catching up with a comment here. It reminded me how our childhood worlds and adult worlds can look so very different and how we can never know how a small action (to us) can remain vivid in a sensitive mind for a lifetime.

Simply gorgeous!
I'm still surprised you can see Mt.Baker from Crofton. Seems you are so close!
