Blogger (the site that hosts this blog) has apparently made significant changes to its platform and I can no longer access my 'dashboard' or do anything other than post new blogs. So if you commented on the new post below, it will be published when/if Blogger straightens out this mess. For now, I can't do anything but read your comments in my email box.
Why can't they leave well enough alone!
Jean
Seems to be all straightened out. Everything's still there, just in different places.
ReplyDeleteI know your pain. :(
ReplyDeleteWell, four hours of searching, crashing the computer, searching some more, and I have finally had to face the truth: Blogger no longer supports any form of Internet Explorer. Under great duress, I downloaded Chrome and can now access the blog stuff again - though it all looks different and most of my other computer stuff doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteTried exporting this blog to an external harddrive, but most of it didn't work. Once I figure that out, I will look at getting my own website instead of using this one or any other that other people can change at will!
For now I am shutting down the computer for the rest of the day, taking Eddie for a very late morning walk, cleaning house, doing gardening, and forgetting that cyberspace even exists.
Have I ever mentioned I hate technology?
Oh dear oh me jean, I can so relate to this. I've been with Chrome from the start so haven't had this prob. What did happen to me though was many months back I had a hack via my Facebook (which I no longer have anything to do with, completed deleted it) also deleted my (then) Blog (as a complete precaution) and started my new Blog. I haven't had any probs with my computer since finishing with Facebook. I guess I was just one of the unlucky ones. (The hack caused a lot of grief though) :)
ReplyDeleteTechnology - Ha! me too. Have a great time with Eddie and enjoy being away from cyberspace!
